Our EN 1433 Compliant Drainage Systems
We are proud to announce that our newest Bridge Drainage Unit (produced in the Netherlands) has recently been successfully tested by the independent notified body, KIWA Berlin. These tests have led to the certification of our products according to the stringent European standard EN 1433. Our range currently includes two different heights of the Bridge Drainage BD 3 50 units: 205 mm and 150 mm. These sizes are specially designed to comply with the standard German curb heights of 15 cm and 7,5 cm respectively.
Key Features of the Certification:
- Water Tightness and Load Class: Our units meet the load class D400, which means that each unit can withstand a direct load of 40 tons. This is four times as strong as the maximum axle load or wheel load that can be placed on the unit.
- Surface Roughness: The surface roughness of our units has also been tested and classified. Even in wet or slippery conditions, our products provide sufficient roughness to safely walk over.
These performance certificates (Declaration of Performance) confirm that our system can be used in all European countries and underscore the durability and quality that have been the standard for our products for 24 years.
