Project Background:

The consortium of contractors was tasked with integrating proven innovations such as the bridge kerb drain into their design and project in all aspects. In mid-2021, we were approached by the consortium and their engineers. The Bridge drainage engineering team worked with consortium to design a suitable 295mmx150mm solution that provide stormwater drainage on both sides of the bridge deck. The design brief embraced climate proof drainage of all bridge decks based on a rainfall event that occurs once every 50 years!
