Advantages over regular drainage:
By integrating the drainage system into the kerbs, this bridge could be realized 60 cm slimmer. Many points were also scored in the EMVI by being able to carry out the maintenance of the drainage system entirely from the bridge deck. In addition, 300% weight was saved in the drainage kerb line.
