Bridge Drainage enters the French market

The Bridge Drainage team participated in the Colloque Le Pont in Toulouse, France last October.

It was a unique opportunity for the team to present the Bridge Drainage system to an audience of French engineers.

Bridge Drainage, specialized in water management, designed the BD unit to increase the road safety and sustainability of bridges. By checking the rainwater level directly on the surface of the bridge, excess water on the surface drains away, reducing the load on the underlying bridge section and thus extending its lifespan. In addition, this system prevents corrosion, as a result of the possibility of omitting cast iron gullies in the bridge deck.

During the presentation in Toulouse, Bridge Drainage explained the benefits of this technology to prospective customers, including market conditions, and how Bridge Drainage could help their area. By speaking to the various French business owners, engineers and officials, the team received excellent feedback and warm recognition for the technology, which enabled us to make good contacts to introduce Bridge Drainage to the French market.

According to the evaluations conducted by the participants after the event, the participants received a high rating for their presentations of Bridge Drainage and their level of expertise in the field of technology. Participants also appreciated sharing experiences with others that helped them think further.

BD completed projects in 6 countries last year, and is preparing to expand to other 23 countries. With our French-speaking advisors, Bridge Drainage hopes to serve the French market at a high level in 2023.
